Particle Cafe | BLAT Toastie is Phenomenal

We ventured out to the North of Melbourne to try out Particle Cafe.  We had heard about it a lot and it was time to see how good it was for ourselves.  It did not disappoint.

Its quite a small cafe on a corner block, but the variety of different seats inside, out the front and around the corner make this spot and absolute treat to visit. Lots of sun coming through the big windows out the front and a tree out the side, perfectly located for your doggo.

Vegan Options

Absolutely Everything!!!!!!!!!!! And a huge plus for me being celiac is that the entire menu is Gluten Free also.  Seriously the best.

I had the BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato) with Rice Paper “Bacon”, Greens, Mashed Avo, Tomato, Mayo (chipotle or normal), Gluten Free Toast, Mico Herbs and Smokey Sauce and wow what a sandwich. The chipotle mayo adds a beautiful spice to the whole ensemble. Fear not for the non hot people out there, as it does come with plain vegan mayo so its still an option. You can add Crispy Potatoes, Cheezy Sauce or Jackfruit as well.  But I think the Toastie speaks for itself as is.

The breakfast board is just immense. It comes with a Mini Jackfruit Slider, Mini Tex Mex Soft Taco, BBQ Jackfruit Crispy Taco, Mini Mashed Avo, Mini Turkish Delight Chia Pudding and a hot drink of your choice.
The pulled jackfruit has a sweet taste which is not an overpowering bbq glamour which a lot of places seem to think jackfruit needs to be. So our hats are off to you Particle for not going overboard and making the Jackfruit perfect. The avo sliders have a delicious lemon tang through them and the macadamia feta was sensational. A really creamy sense to the whole dish adding depth to the whole dish.

We could go on and on about the food, but what you need to know is that Particle Cafe is sensational and you need to try it out for yourself.
