Iconic Patties finger foods have gone green! The much loved Australian party food brand Patties is bringing the vegan party to the table. Recently launching their new vegan-friendly Chickpea, Spinach, and Caramelised Onion Rolls.
Shifting from the well-known Patties blue, the vegan-friendly rolls are in an easily identifiable ‘green’ packaging. The vegan rolls are made with locally sourced Australian wheat flour and are meat, egg and dairy free.
Most noteworthy Patties have recognised the huge demand for not just vegetarian options, but vegan finger foods. Realising that Australians consider plant protein as nutritious as meat with 54% of Australians agreeing that plant protein is just as nutritious as animal protein. Most Australians who eat vegan or vegetarian foods will be flexitarians, opting to focus on fruits and vegetables during “meatless Mondays” or as a healthy alternative*.
