You may be locked away in isolation but it is the perfect opportunity to let your creative side take over and start planning and filming for the upcoming Vegan Film Festival.
The Southern Hemisphere’s first Vegan Film Festival is happening in Adelaide this November. Submissions are now open to filmmakers across the globe to be part of this inaugural event.
The Vegan Film Festival is an advantageous celebration of unique storytelling and compassion, located in one of the world’s most liveable cities – Adelaide, Australia.
Brought to you by the organisers of the world-renowned Vegan Festival Adelaide, this Film Festival elevates another platform for pioneering artists to share their visions of a sustainable world, inspiring stories of kindness and food to live for. Audiences arrive intrigued and leave inspired.
With Vegan being one of the fastest growing social justice movements worldwide, there has never been a better time to gather audiences to celebrate victories in animal rights, and share inspiring stories to encourage others to take actions that not only benefit animals but our environment and health too.
While the festival will have three main categories covering Animals, Climate Action, and Health/Lifestyle/Food, there is no restriction on genres. The Festival’s really looking forward to receiving a wide range of films from documentaries to romcoms, from westerns to animation, and everything in between. We’re encouraging filmmakers to get as creative as they want and step outside the vegan box.
Film submissions open 1 March 2020 and close 15 August 2020, submit early to save on submission fees.
Flicks can be anything from 1-minute shorts to feature-length films over 40 minutes.
We welcome film submissions of all genres, and all lengths from filmmakers worldwide, and have a special category for filmmakers under 16 years old.
Filmmakers worldwide can easily submit their film to the Vegan Film Festival via filmfreeway.com/VeganFilmFestival.
