Sustainable pizza has never looked as good as it does a Green Acre pizza bar. The duo of Phil Gijsbers (also behind Small Print Pizza) and Rob McKenzie have set about bringing a new way of operations through an environmental perspective. Caring about the planet is what pushes them to a higher level of sustainability while they deliver amazing food and a great time. Green Acre boasts that the majority of their packaging is 100% biodegradable and they also use tap beverages so they can minimise on bottle waste. This is a concept brought over from Small Print Pizza in Windsor where they keep it super sustainable also.
What’s not to love about vegan pizza that’s been made lovingly in a sustainable environment. There’s plenty to choose from in their large menu from the vegan margarita to the grass is greener with dairy-free mozzarella, roast zucchini, spinach, chopped chilli, smashed peas, and vegan feta all topped with Italian glaze. There’s also plenty that can be changed into vegan options like the potato pizza which has garlic potato caramelised onion rosemary and swapping out the goats cheese for the vegan feta. There’s also an amazing side of cauliflower chips which are large chunks of fried cauliflower that have been topped with smoked sweet paprika and it comes with a vegan chipotle aioli which is to die for.
But it’s not all vegetables when it comes to vegan pizzas at Green Acre they also have a vegan pepperoni which is topped with vegan salami and an irresistible chilli jam. So whether you like it meaty, shroomy or with plenty of veggies you are going find what you want a Green Acre pizza.
