Stephanie Johnson and Taze Brodel owners and operators on One for the Crow met and fell in love in 2014. They quickly started hatching their dream of a green space that combines both of their passions, vegan food, coffee and of course plants.
One for the Crow is that perfect place that combines these passions on the West side of Melbourne. Situated in Maidstone, the cafe is all about food that is approachable veganism. Including some cafe classics and vegan staples that everyone, vegan and non-vegans, can enjoy. Including bagels, burgers, burritos, and vegan waffles with house-made not-ella, soy ice cream, caramelised banana and real maple syrup! *drool*
You don’t have to be vegan to eat at One For The Crow though, you will love the food either way. Coffe is Allpress, you can request cow milk in your coffee (no thanks) but the plant-based milk is no extra charge.
Stephanie is looking to import some more African plant species for the nursery to expand what is available in Australia. For now, though, you can purchase the lovely Australian natives throughout the nursery right after you finish your brunch. Or before if you want to sit your new plant on your table.
