Nestled in the quiet suburb of Carrum, just a stone’s throw from Chelsea beach, you will find this hidden gem. Walking through to the hidden rooms past the kitchen you find roses adorning the ceiling and covering the tables. It’s small but cosy and perfectly set up for individual rooms with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
Chef Shannon has been creating great food from over 15 years and brings a flair to each and every dish, with a range of dairy-free and vegan options that are sure to hit the spot. You can also find vegan ice-cream in the freezers out front, primed and ready to be scooped for you.
Expect to find all the classic breakfast dishes including granola, banana toast and a few different types of bagels utilising some great vegan cheeses. The big vegan brekky board is also a big hit, complete with vegan bacon, garlic mushrooms, bagel, roast tomato, avocado, fruit cup with coyo and a housemade hash brown that will have you coming back for more.
Another highlight from the menu is the Pumpkin Salad, with an extraordinarily good chickpea and beetroot hummus that brings the whole dish together. Add a whole roasted pumpkin slice to the top and you have a fresh dish that brings as much satisfaction in eating as it does visually.
