Wombat Cafe is that cute cafe you want in your suburb, so you can visit it every morning. If you find yourself on the Mornington Peninsula do not miss this place. Wombat Cafe is located in Dromana and is the first an all Vegan cafe on the Mornington Peninsula.
There is always a large rug and some huge cushions for anyone to lie down on just out the front. As you reach the door and look down to see a very welcoming mat “Hello you lovely people”.
Feeling those Vegan Vibes before you even get in the building
There are many options on the menu to choose, from the tofu scrambled big breakfast to a jackfruit souvlaki. But there are two options you need to try when you head into Wombat Cafe, which are next level.
These two dishes are the Nachos, which have a smokey black bean mix and one of the best cashew creams you will ever try. The other dish is the Buddha Bowl with organic satay tofu, sweet potato, kimchi and plenty of other goodness for you.
Wombat Cafe also has the added benefit of being at the bottom of the Red Hill Mountain Bike trail exiting at Hillview Community Reserve. There are extensive walking trails through Red Hill right next to Wombat Cafe.
