Melbourne Food & Wine Festival started 27 years ago and is now one of the biggest food events Victoria has to offer. With over 250 events throughout the festival, we have crawled through them to find the vegan events you do not want to miss.

Vegan Smokehouse BBQ Collaboration

The new vegan burger crew GreenBurger has teamed up with American BBQ institute Le BonTon to bring you a 100% vegan BBQ feast. You can expect to find smoked hot links, mac & cheese, pulled pork and fried chicken, all of the plant-based variety.
This is one event you do not want to miss, and one you will be talking about long after.
3 Course Meal with Matched Beverages – $98

An Ethiopian Vegan Feast

Footscray’s Konjo Cafe is presenting a night of specialty Ethiopian Vegan dishes, intended to open your mind to the wide world of spice. The dishes cater to mild and spicy palates, with traditional practices of tearing injera bread to scoop up your dish encouraged. There will also be homemade barley brew spiced tea and also vegan desserts.
A starter, vegan buffet comprising of 12 dishes, a dessert, tea, coffee, and a non-alcoholic homemade brew – $51

Even Artichokes Have Hearts

A plant-based, zero waste event by Small Graces, planning to explore the root to stalk cooking techniques. The night will move from traditional to inventive cooking techniques showcased through 5 courses of veg.

Beale Street BBQ Blues

The crew at The B.East just returned from a road trip through Tennesse. Bringing back the smokey southern flavours, through an all vegan Southern BBQ cook up.
With plenty of mock meats and vegetables including, southern fried mock chicken and gravy, vegan barbeque brisket, mac & cheese, and a special dessert inspired by The King.

Down By The Meadow

A vegan feast on the beautiful Murray River with a collaboration between Junction Moama and Echuca’s health bar The Sweet Meadow. This five-course meal with take you on a journey celebrating the local produce.
