To start with, Shaun and Josefin (co-founder) have co-created several new drinks for the Brew House’s 2019 winter menu, including a Mulled Cacao Cider, a spin on the European traditional mulled apple cider, but using cacao husk and warming pepper from Madagascar; and a Cacao Flight: three unique tasting expressions of the cacao bean – raw, roasted and refined.
But perhaps most excitingly, Shaun has also been busy creating several new items for their Söt by Mörk range of cakes, available at the Brew House and many specialty cafes around Melbourne. With a focus on local ingredients and plant-based recipes, these cakes are made for conscious and curious palates. One of the standouts is this completely vegan Strawberry & Eucalyptus Lamington – a stunning, sublime take on a cafe classic.
The new range also includes a decadent Chocolate Brownie (plant-based) and a Double Chocolate Cookie (plant-based). The perfect accompaniment for your dark hot chocolate with almond milk.
