Vegan Marketplace To Open On Brunswick Street

A new concept store brought to you by Vincent Vegetarian

Vincent Vegetarian Food opened over 20 years ago, delivering a plant-based alternative to animal-based products in the market. Fast forward to 2019 and the team at Vincent Vegetarian are expanding into a new concept store on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy.

Vincents Marketplace

The new Vincent’s Marketplace will be joining the other popular vegan hangouts on Brunswick street. It’s Vincent’s, but not as you know it. There will be the regular mock meat, condiments, vegan frozen seafood, and chicken, plus a cafe area.

Vincent’s is your one-stop superstore with everything that you need to create some of your favourite classic meals. Meatballs for your spaghetti? No worries. Chicken nuggets for the inner child in you? You got it! Why not grab some vegan fish sauce while you are there? Yes, you read that right. There’s no better time to make the switch to veganism, you’re not missing a thing.

Even if you haven’t set foot in Vincent Vegetarian in Footscray, you have probably tasted owner Vincent Ng’s delicious alternatives. Cafes and restaurants all over Melbourne are serving up fake bacon, fried eggs, spring rolls and chicken pieces that you would never guess are vegan.

“Lord Of The Fries Co-founder Sam Koronczyk agrees many of those enjoying its mock-meat burgers and nuggets – mostly soy-based – may not realise they are vegan.” – Good Food

Vincent’s Marketplace will be just that, a place to do your shopping while grabbing a latte. Aiming to keep it local in the cafe area, the coffee beans are from Melbourne based coffee roasters St Ali. With other options for the winter months like a nice hot chocolate from Mörk.  Mörk Chocolate are makers of specialty, ethically sourced hot chocolate in Melbourne. But you will be needing to have something small to bite with your coffee, so Vincents marketplace will be stocking Weirdoughs pastries which are 100% plant-based and 100% amazing.

Don’t miss other local in-store food pop-ups and a tasty selection of vegan treats from the cabinet.

Vincent’s Marketplace opens in late June, but you can stay tuned for the first inside look here or follow along their socials: https://www.instagram.com/vincents.marketplace/
