    Located in the heart of the City of Adelaide, My Kingdom for a Horse is not your ordinary cafe. With an on-site coffee roastery and the added bonus of being fully licensed, they offer something unique to the area. in the heart of the City of Adelaide. Owner, Emily Raven has more than 30 years in professional cookery, from owning and running cafes to lecturing at both Le Cordon Bleu and William Angliss. Working extensively with head chef Melissa Kasaz to mould their menu into a tailorable solution which can also be managed by the kitchen.

    The cafe offers a seasonal, all-day a la carte menu using the very best, locally sourced ingredients. With a strong emphasis on vegan dishes, which has been from influenced by their customers.

    The Food

    The most unique dish at My Kingdom for a Horse is the Traffic Stopper. It is also their top-selling dish, which many customers don’t realise is vegan and gluten-free. A crispy base of polenta mixed with baked sweet potato topped with a combination of beetroot hummus, avocado smash, and their chunky Kasundi pumpkin. Another dish of note is the Kingdom Bowl, with house-made falafel, beetroot hummus, roast cauliflower, coconut yoghurt, greens, house-made sauerkraut, brown rice, and spicy toasted chickpeas.
