The Pham Sisters serve up some of the best vegan Vietnamese eats in Melbourne, and all from their mobile Food Service setup. They have been dishing up delectable modern Vietnamese with their own twist for a little over 2 years. Thi & Camilla are the two sisters behind the name, however, it’s a family affair when they are overrun with hungry vegans at every event they attend. Using a combination of mock meats and fresh vegetables, they manage to satisfy everyone.
This year marks their first appearance at the Night Noodle Markets at Birrarung Marr, being the only 100% vegan food stall at the event. But it’s only due to their uncompromising dedication to taste above all, that allows them to be a leading voice in Modern Vietnamese with their own twist.
If you like things fresh and wholesome, they have steamed dumplings, if you like a heap of crispy mock pork in your Banh Mi, they have you covered there too. Their Vegan Crackling Pork Banh Mi is a combination of fresh flavours from the pickled vegetables and fresh cucumber, coupled with their Signature Vegan Crispy ‘POK’. A warm, crunchy, fatty plant-based mock pork filling with a generous serve of The Pham Sisters homemade BBQ sauce. Which to this day remains a family secret.
The other stand out dish from the Pham Sisters is their Vegan Duck Noodle Salad, with crispy mock duck slices atop a fresh salad and smothered with their delicious secret sauce. For the Gluten-Free amongst us, try the steamed mushroom dumplings.
