Argo on the Parade has a menu that is over 10 pages long. The aim was to cater to everyone, be that gluten-free, sugar-free dairy-free or anything in between. The result is a menu covered in plant-based, wholesome options.
The cafe has been run by the same family for decades and continues to be a cornerstone in the Norwood community. But be prepared to wait on the weekends, because the lines run out the door due to the overwhelming popularity.
There is no right place to start with the food because there is just so much. You can head down the raw path and get oodles of raw zoodles, tossed in avocado pesto with a raw Napoletana sauce. Or head in the sweet direction with their vegan waffle, topped in housemade vegan ice-cream, dark Belgian chocolate and double whipped coconut yoghurt. Feeling a little more savoury, then the Breakfast burrito may be right for you, with refried beans, scrambled tofu, salsa, chilli jam and plenty of guac.
