Peace. Love. Burgers. The motto by Hello Sam captures their inclusive nature and love for burgers. Recently expanding on their vegan and vegetarian options, so much so they had to create a separate menu just for those options.
Katherine Samson has always tried to make healthy eating more accessible and fun. Following her exit from Healthy Habits, a business she built from the ground up, the next stage offered her an opportunity to make some damn good burgers. Hello Sam was born and thrived, allowing expansion across the road on Chapel St for Little Green, a vegetarian and vegan cafe/takeaway which specialises in quick tasty food to go.
With the flexitarian and vegan diets rising in population, it was a renewed opportunity to expand on Hello Sam’s smaller vegan menu, and expand they have.
The new menu boasts Cheezburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Vegan Beef, Curried Jackfruit, Truffled Mushrooms, and even a Korean BBQ Duck burger. But it doesn’t stop there, because the sides are equally as epic as the burgers, with 3 different loaded fries to sort you out.
The Jackfruit Fries are particularly pleasing, taking your seasoned fries and topping with curried jackfruit, peanut sauce, fried shallots, and a sweet soy sauce. Moving straight on to the Mini Mac which can be either mini or massive if you opt for the double vegan beef pattie. Pair that with a choc peanut butter milkshake and you will need some rest when you finish tackling it.
If you still have a sweet tooth after all that, the Toddy Shop Choc Tops are available in the freezer in burnt toffee and choc mint ripple.
