Bottomless brunch is now at Marko featuring one of Melbourne’s best-loved falafels, mini avocado toasts, and espresso martinis!
With its first birthday approaching, plant-based diner Marko is looking to celebrate, and what better way than with a bottomless brunch featuring one of Melbourne’s best-loved falafels. “With April 15th being our first birthday, we wanted to do something really fun featuring one of our favourite menu items – the falafel,” says Marko founder Dehne Bingham.
“We love a good bottomless brunch, so we landed on doing a Bottomless Falafel Brunch which includes our falafel, but also some really fun stuff like mini avocado toasts and espresso martinis!”. Marko is repurposing one of its night-time dining favourites, the falafel mezze, and making it available between 11am and 2:30pm each Saturday and Sunday in April. The mezze features bowls upon bowls of small-dish delights like falafel, tahini, pickles, hummus, baba ganoush and freekah salad with a Melbourne morning favourite – mini avocado toasts – added to bring the brunch vibes. There will be a matching drinks package available with celebration being the main theme featuring espresso martinis, mimosas and gin spritzes. “It’s been such a tough year to open a business, but we are committed to showing the people of Melbourne just how delicious and fun eating plants can be!” says Bingham. “We can’t wait to raise a glass with all of our regulars and to new friends that are keen to try something new”.
MARKO’S BOTTOMLESS FALAFEL BRUNCH will be available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout April beginning on Saturday 2nd April. Brunch is available by ticket purchase only at least 24 hours in advance, with minimum group bookings of 2 people. The Bottomless Falafel Brunch is available for $35pp with a bottomless drinks package +$30pp ($65pp total with food and drinks). Bottomless sessions are 90 minutes in duration and responsible service of alcohol restrictions apply.
