Tucked away from Camberwell’s busy Burke Road, Old Garage cafe introduces their newest venture, Garage at Night. Open every Friday and Saturday night, the rustic bricked cafe transforms their usual brunch/lunch menu to exquisite vegan tapas, swapping coffees and lattes to delicious cocktails. Say hello to the new hottest spot for late-night drinks and tapas.
Owners’ Prince and Rachael have incorporated bursts of Italian and Mediterranean flavours throughout the plant-based dishes to show just how flavoursome and easy it is to enjoy a plant-based lifestyle – and we couldn’t agree more!
The menu features classics from Eggplant Parma to Arancini Funghi, Mushroom Gnocchi to Popette Al Sugo to decadent desserts like Tiramisu (which we highly recommend!) because let’s be real, there’s always room for dessert! All dishes are curated by head chef, Harley Salanitri (previously head chef at the 400 Gradi Group) who isn’t afraid to spice and flavour dishes accordingly.
And of course, they do some yummy drinks and cocktails. Think classics like Espresso Martinis, Spicy Margs and Mimosas and for those feeling a little adventurous, perhaps Hot Fudge Baileys or Melancholy Vodka?
So whether you’re after a dinner date, catch up with friends or you just want to indulge in some seriously delicious European tapas and cocktails, check out Garage at Night in Camberwell.
